FORUM THEME
Building Africa’s Future through Science, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships
PRESENTATION
In a world marked by rapid transformations and unprecedented challenges, knowledge, innovation, and effective partnerships have become the fundamental pillars for building a more sustainable and prosperous future for peoples and nations. Today, Africa stands among the most promising regions of the world thanks to its immense human and natural resources, its extraordinary youthful potential, and its scientific and economic capabilities that can play a major role in global development.
Driven by the firm belief that Africa’s future is built through science, knowledge, and international cooperation, and on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of our active presence in the Republic of the Congo, we are pleased to launch an exceptional commemorative and scientific program celebrating three decades of cooperation, commitment, and joint action in the service of science, development, and the strengthening of ties between peoples and institutions.
This program will include the opening of our activities in Madingo-Kayes, as well as the organization of scientific and academic meetings and events in Pointe-Noire (Mvoumvou District), with the participation of distinguished researchers, academics, experts, and representatives of national and international institutions and organizations.
In this context, the International Africa Future Forum – Brazzaville 2026 is conceived as a high-level international platform dedicated to dialogue, collective reflection, and cooperation, bringing together scientists, researchers, academics, experts, decision-makers, representatives of economic and investment institutions, and civil society organizations from around the world.
The Forum aims to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation, promote innovation and technology transfer, support sustainable development, and open new horizons for strategic partnerships between Africa, the Arab World, and Europe in order to address common challenges and build a brighter future for coming generations.
The city of Brazzaville, capital of the Republic of the Congo, will host this important international event from 20 to 24 August 2026. It will become a meeting place for knowledge, expertise, and successful experiences, as well as a privileged platform for launching high-impact scientific and investment initiatives across various fields.
The International Africa Future Forum is not merely a scientific congress; it represents a shared vision and a platform for dialogue, consultation, and collective action in support of a more innovative, more sustainable Africa that is increasingly capable of contributing actively to shaping the future of humanity.
From Brazzaville, the beating heart of Africa, we invite universities, research centers, international institutions, companies, entrepreneurs, experts, and researchers to participate in this distinguished international event and contribute to building bridges of knowledge, cooperation, and partnership for a prosperous and sustainable African future.
Together, let us build Africa’s future through science, innovation, and strategic partnerships.
Importance of the Republic of the Congo as Host of the Forum
The choice of the Republic of the Congo to host the International Africa Future Forum – Congo 2026 reflects recognition of the country’s growing role in promoting regional and international cooperation, as well as its contribution to sustainable development efforts across the African continent.
The Republic of the Congo enjoys a strategic position at the heart of Central Africa. It is also endowed with significant natural and environmental resources, particularly the forests of the Congo Basin, which are considered one of the largest tropical forest ecosystems in the world and one of the planet’s most important ecological lungs.
The cities of Brazzaville, Pointe-Noire, and Madingo-Kayes constitute complementary spaces that combine political, scientific, economic, and social dimensions. They provide a favorable environment for strengthening scientific dialogue, promoting investment, and developing partnerships among academic, economic, cultural, and social institutions.
Furthermore, the Republic of the Congo serves as a genuine bridge between the countries of Central Africa and other regions of the continent, giving the Forum a broader African dimension while fostering South-South cooperation as well as regional and international integration.
